A finely ground German hollow ground blade which is 6/8" wide.
Possibly dating from the 1950s, this lovely razor would make a lovely introduction to the world of straight razor shaving. It wears replacement, but new scales, which I pinned on, boldly bearing the name of its town of origin, the famous Solingen in Germany.
The razor also comes with a Solingen presentation box.
A beautiful vintage razor that will last a lifetime.
This razor would be an ideal first razor. It's a beautifully created razor, evidently made by craftsmen during the golden age of straight razor manufacture. The blade, made from fine steel is well ground and shaped. The scales and spacer are now polished to a high sheen, as you can see from the images.
Proceeds from the sale of this razor goes to a Foodbank.
