A beautiful Victorian, Sheffield made razor by Thomas W. Ward. It's a full wedge and a silent, effective smooth shaving blade. Probably made during the 1880s, this razor is a piece of Sheffield history.
This razor is 6/8" Square Pointed and full-wedge. It's a solid piece of Sheffield steel and a collector's item.
The Thomas W. Ward in its hand carved buffalo scales is unique
I love this razor, it's one to cherish. A beauty that elegantly sits in its scales, just waiting to be let loose on lather and beard. wood scales.
The scales and spacer are handmade by me; made of buffalo horn and an acrylic spacer. When I made the scales, I tried to give a glimpse of a time when industrial processes and craftsmanship co-existed in small workshops.
